Many firms use “stock design and details.” Clients have come to us after realizing the fact that this stagnant influence mindset of their last design professional did not meet today’s trends, code compliances, and incurred change orders due to poor detailing and code compliance. Since 2001, Minuta Architecture has never had a change order based on our drawings and specifications. Any change orders incurred were based on clients’ request to have more by means of increased funding or savings found through our easily understood relevant detailing and specifications. Members of our firm are NYSDOS Codes-certified, and we employ retired NYS DOS Code officials with more than 20 years of experience.
